I am interested in managing distributed cyber-physical systems, focusing on resource allocations across networks in constrained settings (typically energy, time, and cost). Nowadays, I am exploring the possibilities to combine optimization techniques, heuristics, and AI to develop energy-efficient, independent, secure, and private large-scale networks.
My research has applications to green electricity grids and markets, networked energy systems, peer-to-peer exchanges in microgrids (e.g., here and here), drone swarms, industrial energy networks, manufacturing job shop scheduling (flexible job shop scheduling problems), and delivery logistics (e.g., capacitated vehicle routing problems (here and here)).
